Foothill-De Anza pledges to combat global warming
College presidents from the Foothill-De Anza Community College District, the University of California, and 278 other colleges and universities made a pledge to taking action by going into "climate neutral." Brush fire shuts down 85
De Anza College students encountered major traffic delays Thursday afternoon on highways 85 and 280 caused by a brush fire at the interchange of those two freeway, less than a mile from campus. The blaze sent up a massive white smoke plume which loomed over De Anza for an hour and a half.…
