"What happens in Vegas should stay in Vegas" - at least that's the case for the three guys in "The Hangover," who wake up after a wild stage party with no memories of what happened the night before.

But one thing is certain: the hotel suite is completely trashed and the groom is missing.

Evidently, in their lavish suite is a clucking chicken, a roaming tiger, and a crying baby. Stu (Ed Helms) a dentist, has a missing tooth and the guys are clueless of how everything happened.

This whole mess indeed entices some good laughs but overall "The Hangover" is more amusing than hilarious. However, Director Todd Phillips ("Old School") successfully established the plot's creative twist, which begins when the three guys start searching for their missing friend Doug (Justin Bartha), who is getting married in just two days.

The combination of the four: the geeky Alan (Zach Galifianakis), the good-looking Phil (Bradley Cooper), the overly concerned Stu and the mellow Doug, is what makes "The Hangover" so comical. Just seeing them driving to Vegas with Doug's soon to be father-in-law's precious convertible Mercedes appears somewhat awkward. But despite their distinguished differences they do know how to have fun together.

However, Alan's rather unpleasant character seemed to have been dragged along to Vegas just because he is Doug's future brother-in-law. His strange comments and sole style especially seemed to bother Phil who sees himself as a smart-ass guy.

As the guys search for Doug, the story of what happened the night before is slowly unpacked - in a very humorous and engaging way. But without revealing too much of the scrumptious details it does turns out that the guys truly had the "night of their lives." Marrying a stripper, stealing from Mike Tyson (who has a cameos in the movie) and driving a police car are only some of the crazy things that occurred.

"The Hangover" is one of those feel-good movies that are ideal to enjoy with friends. However, it's doubtful if the movie is worth spending the money on in the theatres. The movie is in many ways hilarious, but some of the jokes are lame and not funny at all.
