3. "The Best of Ogden Nash." It will be the most intentionally funny poetry you read all year.
4. "Love: Poems," Danielle Steel. It will be the most unintentionally funny poetry you read all year.
5. "Raspberry Beret," Prince. It's warm.
MULTIMEDIA MANAGER
1. Bleach, episode 166. Is it a children's cartoon? Yes. Does the combination of music, sound effects and animation create a badass display of ass-kicking badassness? Hell yes!
2. "Walk in Space," Fingathing. An instrumental that forces you to identify and appreciate structure in music.
3. http://carollaradio.com. You've missed out on Adam Carolla's "attack crows" idea and his stance on torturing terrorists.
4. "Guards! Guards!," Terry Pratchett. A book in which the main character (surrounded by trolls, wizards and dwarves) claims it is not possible for a giant, flying lizard to exist … even if it burned down half the city.
5. http://gutenberg.org. Search, read and download tons of free books.
FEATURES EDITOR
1. "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," Hunter S. Thompson. Thompson's style is brilliantly unique with dark humor and a clear, descriptive style that keeps the reader captivated.
2. http://imeem.com. A fantastic Web site to join if you are a student who enjoys endless music for free! It also allows users to share their favorite music with each other.
3. "Skinny Bitch," Rory Freedman and Kim Barnouin. I am not saying you need to be skinny or a bitch, but this book is fascinating and informs readers of the way food is processed and what we ingest into our bodies.
4. Cooking Light Magazine. Always has new, healthy, simple recipes!
5. "Let's Go Crazy," Prince. Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to get through this thing called life.
OPINIONS EDITOR
1. "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)." This play presents all of Shakespeare's plays with only three actors. I urge everyone who hasn't read Shakespeare to become familiar with him, just to watch this hilarious play.
2. "Where I'm Calling From," Raymond Carver. His themes may seem too dark, but his engaging writing and the human issues he addresses are a literary experience no one should miss.
